Information we collect from you

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

Your name, address, phone number (including mobile number), email address and other information when you make a purchase through our store. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your specific consent. Our web server collects your domain name and your e-mail address.

Use of personal data

Your information will enable us to provide you with the services that you request and to process your order (including verifying payments). We will not email you in future unless you have given us your consent (except for the purpose of confirming and fulfilling your orders, or as we have mentioned in this Privacy Policy). Where you supply us with third party personal information so that we can complete a delivery to that third party, we will not use such third party personal information for any purposes other than to carry out the delivery except that we may contact such third parties in the future to check if they are satisfied with our services and ask if they are interested in receiving further information from us about our products and services. We may share your personal information and the personal information of individuals to whom we are requested to deliver products with carefully selected third parties whom we work with to provide services to you and who enable us to carry out our business. If we need to transfer your information outside the European Economic Area for uses other than to fulfil orders that you have placed with us, we will first obtain your consent.

Anonymous Visitor Statistics Cookies

We use cookies to compile visitor statistics such as how many people have visited our website, what type of technology they are using (e.g. Mac or Windows which helps to identify when our site isn’t working as it should for particular technologies), how long they spend on the site, what page they look at etc. This helps us to continuously improve our website. These so called “analytics” programs also tell us if, on an anonymous basis, how people reached this site (e.g. from a search engine) and whether they have been here before helping us to put more money into developing our services for you instead of marketing spend.

Turning Cookies Off

You can usually switch cookies off by adjusting your browser settings to stop it from accepting cookies (Learn how here). Doing so however will likely limit the functionality of our’s and a large proportion of the world’s websites as cookies are a standard part of most modern websites

It may be that you concerns around cookies relate to so called “spyware”. Rather than switching off cookies in your browser you may find that anti-spyware software achieves the same objective by automatically deleting cookies considered to be invasive. Learn more about managing cookies with antispyware software.

A cookie is a small information file that is sent to your computer and is stored on your hard drive. Some websites use cookies to remember users’ email addresses or log on details. We do use Cookies on our website.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of registered and non-registered visitors to our site. This can include using a cookie which would be stored on your browser. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings so as to not accept cookies.

Every time you connect to our website we store a log of your visit which shows the unique number your machine uses when it is connected to the internet (IP address). This tells us what you have looked at and which browser you use to view the pages. This information helps us to understand which areas of the site are of particular interest and which pages are not being requested. It also tells us the number of ‘hits’ on the Website.

Information that is collected via Cookies is used in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Retention and storage of your information

Our site primarily uses cookies for the ecommerce part of our site in order that the basket function works correctly.  We do not keep your personal details for longer than we require for these purposes that we have mentioned. When we destroy or delete any of your personal information that we hold either electronically or on paper, we make every reasonable effort to do so in secure circumstances.

Please note that our policies on privacy will be overridden where we are required or permitted to disclose personal information under law or the terms of any court order.

WooCommerce Cookies

To keep track of cart data, WooCommerce makes use of 3 cookies:

woocommerce_cart_hash
woocommerce_items_in_cart
wp_woocommerce_session_

The first two cookies contain information about the cart as a whole and helps WooCommerce know when the cart data changes. The final cookie (wp_woocommerce_session_) contains a unique code for each customer so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer. No personal information is stored within these cookies.

Checking your details

You are entitled to see the information that we hold about you. You may ask us to make any necessary changes to ensure that your information is accurate and kept up-to-date. If you wish to verify the details you have submitted to us, you may do so by contacting us using the contact details at the end of this notice. We are entitled by law to charge a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

Security

We will take all reasonable measures as required to ensure that personal information you submit to us is kept secure and protected from unauthorised use or disclosure. If we share personal data with third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we will take all reasonable measures to ensure that such third parties also take appropriate security measures in relation to your personal data.
